The site is surveyed and marked for excavation according to the size and shape selected. Actual digging begins after insuring that all electrical and other utilities are clear from the pool area. The excavation continues according to the depths specified by the blueprints. Piping & placing of plumbing components & other built-in equipment follows excavation just prior to beginning the steel framing. Long round steel reinforced rods are bent and shaped against the floor and walls of the excavation. Once inspected by the city, the pool is ready for concrete to be placed over the steel web. Decorative tile is applied at the waterline to protect pool from oil and water evaporation stains. Decking and a final plaster coat is applied to form a smooth interior finish over the cured concrete shell. The pump and filter are installed to prepare the swimming pool for the final step -- water.
